There’s no shortage of places to find outdoor fun in Dodge County—this central Wisconsin vacation destination is home to excellent parks, recreational trails, wildlife areas, and pools and aquatic centers (and don’t forget the 33,000-acre Horicon Marsh).

County and community parks can be found throughout Dodge County, offering outstanding options for hiking, biking, paddling, winter sports, wildlife viewing, and camping. Must-visit areas include Harnischfeger Park in southeastern Dodge County (the county’s largest park) and Ledge Park, which sits on the southern edge of the Horicon Marsh and is a great place for scenic views.

Dodge County is also home to excellent multi-use trails that are open to hiking, biking, and winter sports like cross-country skiing & snowshoeing. The Wild Goose State Trail covers more than 30 miles and is open to all types of trail use, and excellent biking can also be found on Watertown’s Interurban Trail and the Glacial River Bike Trail.
