Take a ride through beautiful central Wisconsin scenery as you explore Dodge County’s horseback riding trails.
The Wild Goose State Trail is a 34-mile route that follows the western edge of the Horicon Marsh, and horses are allowed on a separate 14-mile pathway along the main trail between State Highway 60 and Pautsch Road in Dodge County. Horseback riders must keep off the main trail except at designated crossings—parking and restrooms are available at the Highway 60 trailhead and the Minnesota Junction area north of State Highway 33. Learn more here.
Horseback riding is also available on some trails at Harnischfeger Park in Ixonia.
