ATVers and UTVers can ride more than 20 miles of trails in Dodge County in central Wisconsin during the winter months.
The county’s designated ATV/UTV trail is open from December 1 through March 31 but only when the county has officially declared the trail open. (Opening depends on ground freeze or snow base sufficient enough to prevent damage to the trail.)
The Wild Goose State Trail is open to ATV/UTV traffic from State Road 60 to State Highway 49 from December 1 through March 31 when trail conditions allow and the trail is open. ATV/UTV traffic is not permitted north of State Highway 49 in Fond du Lac County. See a county trail map here.
Parking and trail access is available at:
- Highway 60 southern trailhead parking lot (1 mile east of Highway 26)
- Highway 33/26 trail parking lot
