The Horicon National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center is the perfect starting point to explore one of the largest freshwater marshes in North America. Nestled in the heart of Dodge County, the center offers exhibits about the diverse wildlife and ecosystems of the marsh, a raptor display of the hawks and owls of Wisconsin and a gift shop. Outside the center visitors can enjoy native gardens, scenic views from the observation deck, and hike along the Sense of Wonder Trail. The refuge visitor center is open year-round.
